The exclusive breastfeeding rate in Nigeria as of the year 2022 was 29%. This is lower than the recommended rate of at least 60% by the WHO and UNICEF. The reasons for the low rate are clustered around insufficient knowledge or lack of knowledge and low support for the mother.
The aim of this course is to increase this very vital statistics by elevating the knowledge base and support a mother needs to achieve her exclusive breastfeeding goals which invariably has a positive global impact.
