Volume 3 completes the medication use process. Learners study safe administration, medication safety in special populations and settings (including the role of laboratory professionals), monitoring and pharmacovigilance, incident reporting and disclosure, root cause analysis and failure mode analysis, and the practical steps for building a safer system. The volume ends with a capstone Medication Safety Action Plan.
